Trevor Coulter's fairytale continued at Royal Portrush as he clinched the Magners North of Ireland Amateur Open Championship title with a one hole win over Ulster player Rory Leonard.

In a long, drawn out decider, the Massereene scratch player ground out a shock win after producing previous shock results throughout the week. He was three up after seven holes against Leonard but let the advantage slip be two down on the 15th tee.
