Goosen makes his mark

Retief Goosen’s class was there for all to see again today as he moved to the top of the leaderboard in the Smurfit European Open at the K Club near Dublin.

The South African may have preferred another few days of rest following his second US Open triumph two weeks ago, but that did not stop him out-shining many of Europe’s leading lights once more.
