Rose says okay to play at K Club

Justin Rose has decided to play in this week’s Smurfit European Open at the K Club in Co Kildare as he continues to battle for a place in the British Open.

After failing to come through the British Open qualifying competition by one shot at Sunningdale yesterday the 23-year-old was so gutted that he said: “There’s no point going if you’ve got no chance to win – and I’m hitting it terrible.”
