Jesper Parnevik returns to European tour action at the Smurfit European Open at the K Club next week.

Parnevik rejoined the circuit last month to become eligible for the Ryder Cup and is also involved in Open championship qualifying at Sunningdale next Monday.

The Swede had three top-10 finishes in his first five events on the US Tour this season, but failed to qualify for last week’s US Open.

Retief Goosen, the winner at Shinnecock Hills on Sunday, will also be at the K Club.
