Bob Cameron wins Open de France
England’s Bob Cameron won the Open de France Seniors at the Omaha Beach Club in Normandy today.
The 51-year-old fired an unblemished five-under-par 67 for a three-stroke victory over European Seniors Tour debutant David J Russell from England.
The victory marked Cameron’s first title on the Seniors Tour and earned him a cheque for £20,246.
“I have been working very hard to get to this position,” said Cameron.
“In the last group you hope to stick in there and today I managed to do it.”
