Holywood teenager Rory McIlroy cruised into the last 16 of the Standard Life West of Ireland Championship with two brilliant performances at Rosses Point.

The 14 year old was an incredible seven under par for 16 holes as he beat former Irish international Pat Murray by 3 and 2 in the first round and then hit every green in regulation to beat Mullingar's John Morris by one hole in the afternoon.
