Hatalsky closes the gap

Morris Hatalsky fired a five-under-par 66 to catch Tom Purtzer for the lead at the Toshiba Senior Classic in California.

Hatalsky shot a fine 65 in Friday’s opening round but that was obscured by Purtzer’s 60 which matched a Champions Tour record.
