Sweden’s Christopher Hanell emerged as the new leader of the Omega Hong Kong Open on eight-under-par after a dramatic third day in Fanling.

The 30-year-old, who ranked just 41st on the Challenger Tour, did not drop a shot in an impressive five-under-par round of 65.
