Walton fails to earn tour card

Philip Walton's hopes of gaining a European Tour card have slipped away at the final round of the European tour qualifying school in Spain today.

He recovered well from a bad start to finish the round on three under par, but it was not enough to secure a place on the tour as he finished tied for 58.
