Walton's European card hopes fading away

Philip Walton's hopes of gaining a European Tour card appear to have slipped away at the final round of the European tour qualifying school in Spain today.

The hopes of 1995 Ryder Cup hero Philip Walton were all but over when he had bogey sixes at both the 13th and 18th to turn in 36 and so remain only nine under.
