Woods within round of PGA Tour record
Tiger Woods moved within 18 holes of matching a long-time PGA Tour record when he shot a six-under-par 66 and trails Brenden Pappas by three strokes after the opening round of the Funai Classic at Disney World.
Barring an unexpected disaster in the second round, Woods will be credited with making his 113th straight cut on tour, tying the mark set by Byron Nelson in the 1940s.
