Els is the Match Play king again

Ernie Els won a record-equalling fifth World Match Play Championship and £1m (€1.4m) at Wentworth today – but not before Thomas Bjorn won a £37,000 (€53,000) Toyota Land Cruiser for a hole-in-one.

Five down with five to play, Bjorn stayed alive by sinking his four-iron to the 179-yard 14th hole for only the third ace in the tournament’s 40-year history.
