Leonard to take paternity leave
Former Open winner Justin Leonard and his wife Amanda are expecting a new addition to the Leonard household around October 5.
“Yeah. We are very excited,” Leonard said. “I feel fortunate because we didn’t plan anything. But it’s at a time of the year where I can take this much time off.”
Leonard will be out of action for six weeks and will not play again until The Chrysler Championship and the Tour Championship.
“Hopefully I can change a few diapers at some point,” Leonard said.
“I’m just going to be working with a strength coach and so we’re going to be working out pretty hard.”
