Trio up the pace

Ernie Els, Eduardo Romero and Robert Karlsson are threatening to turn the Omega European Masters into their own private shoot-out.

Karlsson began the day one shot ahead of Romero and two clear of Els as he tried to complete a remarkable second consecutive wire-to-wire victory at Crans-sur-Sierre.
