Curtis gets off course to get married
British Open winner Ben Curtis finished his round of the NEC Invitational and made straight for the church for his wedding.
Curtis completed a two over par 72 - and had 100 minutes to get to the church on time. First, though, there were the signing of his card and television and press interviews to do.
“I didn’t worry about it as much as I thought I would out there,” he said.
Asked whether he had thought about his final putt as his last one as a single man he smiled and replied: “No. Life won’t change – there will be a certificate and that’s it.”
