Irish eyes were smiling all around Wentworth as David Jones and Eamonn Darcy called the tune on the opening day of the Travis Perkins Senior Masters over the Edinburgh course.

Irish eyes were smiling all around Wentworth as David Jones and Eamonn Darcy (pictured) called the tune on the opening day of the Travis Perkins Senior Masters over the Edinburgh course.

Jones, now more a course designer than a tournament player, carded a five-under-par 67 to lead by one from Darcy then expressed himself shocked and surprised with his performance.
