Woods set to reject million pound chance

Tiger Woods is expected to confirm in the next few weeks that he will not be playing in the HSBC World Match Play championship at Wentworth in October.

The second biggest cheque in golf – £1m (€1.42) – will be on offer to the elite 12-man field and one of the places was reserved for the world number one.
