Three golfers interested in 2006 captaincy

Ian Woosnam, Bernhard Langer and Sandy Lyle have declared interest in captaining the European team at the 2006 Ryder Cup at the K Club in Co Kildare.

One of the trio will replace Sam Torrance for the 2004 competition in Detroit, while one of the others is likely to land the job when the event takes place in Ireland for the first time two years later.
