Rose rises into lead

A brilliant closing round of 65 in windy conditions swept Justin Rose from six behind into the early lead on the final day of the French Open at Le Golf National.

Rose, who left an 18-foot putt for eagle just short on the par five last, stood 13 under, with Philip Golding and David Howell 12 under after only six and eight holes respectively.
