Furyk says win 'beyond my dreams'

American Jim Furyk was celebrating his first major title today – after a Father’s Day victory he described as “beyond my dreams”.

The 33-year-old, who had the first of 12 top-10 finishes in majors seven years ago, won the US Open by three strokes from Australian Stephen Leaney at Olympia Fields near Chicago last night.
