Clarke one under at halfway

Ireland's Darren Clarke added a 69 to his initial 70 in the US Open today to be one under at halfway and in a share of 16th place.

Playing partner Phil Mickelson was one further back after a second-successive 70, while Jim Furyk rocketed to the top of the leaderboard.
