Neck injury forces McGinley out of British Masters

Ireland's Paul McGinley has been forced to withdraw from the British Masters at the Forest of Arden due to a neck injury.

The Dubliner was joint 24th overnight after carding a two-under-par opening round yesterday and played five holes today before a neck spasm led him to withdraw.

"I can't hit it more than 200 yards. There's no way I can carry on like that," he said.
