Singh grabs victory in Texas

Fiji’s Vijay Singh fired a final-round four-under-par 66 to claim a two-stroke victory at the Byron Nelson Championship in Irving, Texas.

The 40-year-old finished the tournament on 15 under par to secure his 13th PGA Tour title and second this year, having already taken the Phoenix Open.

Zimbabwe’s Nick Price closed with a 65 to finish second while Robert Allenby of Australia was another shot back in third after a similar showing on the final day.
