Great golf in Enniscrone makes it a Gray day
Holywood professional Paul Gray hit the birdie trail shooting a course record at Enniscrone in the annual Celuplast pro-am tournament.
The 27-year-old carded a super 65, which is eight-under-par, to win the €10,000 event.
Gray carded six birdies and an eagle without every conceding a stroke to the course. His short game was the secret of his success as he lowered as he lowered putts of up to 20 feet.
His eagle was at the long fourth hole where he got down from that distance after a drive and four iron to the green.
Gray almost had another eagle as his wedge to the 12th hole stopped just one inch from the cup and he had to settle for birdie three.
The winner posted six birdies and an eagle without every dropping a shot during his immaculate round.
