Munster beaten heavily in Girls' Interpro
Munster received one of their heaviest defeats for a long time in the Girls' Interprovincial Championship when they managed only half-a-point in their tussle with Connacht at Warrenpoint today.
Kate Davis, a Bandon 13-handicapper, prevented a complete whitewash when she shared her match with Enniscrone player Laura Holmes, who also plays off 13.
Connacht are now set for a showdown tomorrow with holders Leinster who had an equally impressive victory over Ulster today. Leinster won that battle 7-1 with the Delaney sisters, Tara and Karen, leading the charge.
The defending champions have won both their fixtures while Connacht began by sharing the spoils with Ulster and have now beaten Munster with a great chance of taking the title.
