Tiger takes the opening round against Els

Tiger Woods took round one against Ernie Els in the showdown of golf’s heavyweights in the first round of the Bay Hill Invitational in Orlando.

While Woods did not deliver a knock-out punch, he bettered Els by four strokes during their first showdown in a strokeplay event in nearly five months.
