Ireland end second round trailing leaders by six
England and Scotland, both forced into calling up replacements in the last two weeks, looked anything but weakened on the second day of golf’s World Cup in Mexico today.
Justin Rose and Paul Casey, the stand-in for Nick Faldo, easily out-scored illustrious playing partners Phil Mickelson and David Toms, returning a superb round of 63 as the event switched from fourballs to the more testing foursomes.
