Faldo out of World Cup

An elbow problem has forced Nick Faldo to withdraw from the England team for next week’s WGC – EMC² World Cup at Vista Vallarta, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

The loss of Faldo, who finished tied 11th at the Hong Kong Open last week, is a major blow to England and 25-year-old Paul Casey, the 2001 Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year, will now partner world number 40 Justin Rose in the event.
