Flawless Furyk ties lead

Jim Furyk fired a six-under-par 65 to tie Charles Howell III for the lead after the second round of the 90-hole Invensys Classic in Las Vegas.

Furyk had six birdies in a bogey-free day at the TPC at The Canyons to reach 12-under 131, an aggregate stroke lower than Howell after playing the only par-71 layout in the three-course rotation on Thursday.
