McGinley in for foursomes

Sam Torrance kept Phillip Price and Swedes Pierre Fulke and Jesper Parnevik on the sidelines for the afternoon foursomes at the Ryder Cup.

The only change from his morning line-up was that Paul McGinley replaced Niclas Fasth alongside Padraig Harrington. McGinley and Harrington, fellow Dubliners, were World Cup winners in 1997.
