Woods holds off late Goosen charge

Tiger Woods won the American Express world championship – and its million-dollar prize prize – by one stroke from South African Retief Goosen at Mount Juliet in Ireland today.

But a five at the last stopped the world number one achieving something he has never achieved before – a bogey-free tournament.
