Goosen has Els in his sights

Retief Goosen boosted his chances of retaining his crown as European number one with a superb opening round in the German Masters.

Goosen currently lies second in the Order of Merit, trailing Ernie Els by just over €478,6000 but could wipe out that deficit with victory on Sunday.
