Three-way tie at top in Derry pro-am
English man Philip Harrison squeezed in among leading Irish players John Dwyer and Damian Mooney during the second round in the £20,000 McCambridge-Duffy pro-am tournamant at City of Derry.
Harrison, a regular in this annual event and a former winner, carded a three-under-par 68 to match a similar score by Ashbourne Club pro John Dwyer who leads the Irish Order of Merit just now.
Dwyer and Harrison go into the last round at six-under-par 136, the same as Damian Mooney (Laganview) who was first round leader with a super 66 but he then took a 70 second time out.
Brendan McGovern who finished two strokes ahead of Dwyer to win last year's event is seven strokes adrift on 143 and in joint eighth place going into the last day's play.
