Five golfers tied for lead at North-West Open
Five players are currently tied for the lead after the opening round of the North-West of Ireland Open in Ballyliffin, Co Donegal.
Italian duo Constantino Rocca and Massimo Florioli, Sweden’s Anders Forsbrand, Denmark’s Allan Hogh and Spain’s Jesus Maria Arruti all carded one-under-par rounds of 71 in adverse weather conditions to share the lead heading into today’s second round.
Damien McGrane is best of the Irish competitors on level par, while Ciaran McMonagle is on two over. Philip Walton, John Dwyer and Francis Howley are all on three over.
