Ireland has a new sporting hero this morning.

Graeme McDowell finished one-shot clear of Trevor Immelmann to claim the Scandinavian Masters at his home Kungsängen course in Stockholm.

It was only the 23-year-old Portrush rookie's fourth European Tour event. He finished fourteen under par.
