Big guns not firing properly

Colin Montgomerie and Ernie Els barely made the halfway cut in the Scottish Open at Loch Lomond.

Even with a birdie at the last hole Montgomerie had to wait seven hours before discovering he had made the cut - along with Darren Clarke - on the limit of one over par.
