Defending champion Stuart Paul was one of four senior internationals who were pushed out of the Ireland Amateur Open Championship today.

Paul lost on the home green to Gareth Maybin (Ballyclare) while Noel Crawford (Moujrne) dismissed both Mark Campbell and Tim Rice. The otehr international to fall was Michael mcDermot who was beaten in the third round by Chris Moriarty.
