Fulke and Price withdraw from European Open

Sweden’s Pierre Fulke and Welshman Philip Price have withdrawn from the European Open at the K-Club.

Fulke, who carded an opening-round 82 yesterday, withdrew after eight more holes today with a wrist injury. He was on 12 over par.

Price, his playing partner, lasted only two more holes before also withdrawing on eight over par with a neck injury. Both golfers are members of Europe’s Ryder Cup team.
