Ballesteros pulls out of British Open

Seve Ballesteros has withdrawn from the British Open next month at Muirfield.

The Spanish star was at Fota Island in Cork this week taking part in the Murphy's Irish Open, but retired after an opening day finished on 16 over par, including a 10 on the par five 18th, and a nine on the 10th.
