Spain’s Seve Ballesteros has been disqualified from the Murphy’s Irish Open in Fota Island after signing for a 10 instead of a 12 on the final hole of his opening round today.

Spain’s Seve Ballesteros has been disqualified from the Murphy’s Irish Open in Fota Island after signing for a 10 instead of a 12 on the final hole of his opening round today.

The three-times former winner finished his round on 18 over par. The veteran golfer issued an apology to all those concerned and said he 'wished that it had not all finished like this'.
