Clarke faces fitness fight

Darren Clarke pulled out of the eve-of-tournament pro-am for the Deutsche Bank-SAP Open in Heidelberg today, after hurting his leg fishing.

The Ulsterman, the world number 14, has been having treatment for the problem and the draw for the first two rounds of the tournament has done him a favour as he is not due off until 12.50pm in the opening round tomorrow.
