In the foursomes, Clarke/Westwood beat Ceka/Bjorn 2&1, Montgomerie/Oldcorn beat Fasth and Karlsson 3&2, Casey/Webster went down by one hole to Olazabal/Jiminez and Harrington/McGinley beat Jacquelin/Levet by one hole.
