Golf: Parnevik gives and takes

Jesper Parnevik, having given Tiger Woods a new girlfriend, set about taking his Masters title with a two under par 70 at Augusta National today.

On the toughened-up course, even in benign conditions, that was good enough for a share of the early clubhouse lead - but out on the front nine Ireland’s Padraig Harrington was four under par after eight holes and led by one from twice winner Bernhard Langer and reigning US PGA champion David Toms.
