Golf: Oldcorn and Webster in battle for euro spot

Andrew Oldcorn and Steve Webster were today locked in a battle to qualify for the Seve Trophy before mist and fog interrupted play in the Madeira Island Open.

Webster began the week’s final qualifying event for the Ryder Cup-style contest between Great Britain and Ireland and Continental Europe in the last automatic qualifying place.
