Golf: Wi takes lead at Dubai Desert Classic

South Korea’s Charlie Wi has taken the lead at the Dubai Desert Classic after carding a five-under-par second-round 67 this morning.

Wi is on nine under par, two shots ahead of Britain’s John Bickerton. Argentina’s Ricardo Gonzalez is in third place on six under, while Scotland’s Sam Torrance is one shot further back in fourth place.
