Scotland’s Alastair Forsyth has taken the outright lead at the Malaysian Open in Kuala Lumpur after carding a six-under-par second round today.

Scotland’s Alastair Forsyth has taken the outright lead at the Malaysian Open in Kuala Lumpur after carding a six-under-par second round today.

Forsyth is on 14 under par, one shot ahead of Spain’s Miguel Angel Martinez, who carded an eight-under-par second-round 63.

South Korea’s Anthony Kang is two shots further adrift on 11 under, with Spain’s Ignacio Garrido in fourth on 10 under par.

Ireland’s Padraig Harrington moved to joint 20th, on five under par, after carding a second-round 67.
