Golf: Sutherland and McCarron in World Match Play final

Kevin Sutherland will meet Scott McCarron in the final of the Accenture World Match Play in California.

The final is a match nobody could have predicted, with Sutherland ranked 62nd of the 64 players and McCarron ranked 45th.

Sutherland beat Brad Faxon in the semi-final yesterday, despite trailing by two after eight holes, while McCarron, who began the week with a victory over Colin Montgomery, beat Paul Azinger in his semi-final thanks to a match-clinching 40ft putt on the 18th.
