South Africa’s Retief Goosen smashed a 28-year-old European Tour record in Perth today, opening up an incredible 13-stroke lead with a round to play in the Johnnie Walker Classic.

The US Open champion, Europe’s top money-winner last season, shot a Lake Karrinyup course-record 63 to reach the 54-hole mark on the 15-under-par total of 203.
