Young Australian golfer Aaron Baddeley, one of the top attractions in the Johnnie Walker Classic starting in Perth tomorrow, had to withdraw from the eve-of-event pro-am with a pinched nerve in his hip.

Double Australian Open champion Baddeley, still only 20, withdrew after six holes.
