Golf: Harrington edges out McGinley to win Volvo Masters

Padraig Harrington holed a 25ft birdie putt on the last green to win the Volvo Masters in Spain.

Padraig Harrington finally got rid of his runner-up tag for the 2001 season with a win at the Volvo Masters in Spain this afternoon.

Harrington had finished in second place a total of seven times this season and was growing increasingly frustrated with his failure to clinch a win on the tour.
